Which plans can use the code?
The rule is pretty simple: Travel Beyond and the eSIM must be in the same booking. On Travel Beyond, that means:

Just take note, the code only works on TP Xtra. If you buy travel insurance on the Tune Protect website or app, XTRADATA cannot be used.
How to get your free travel eSIM in 5 steps
Step 1: Go to Travel Beyond on TP Xtra.
Step 2: Search your trip. Put in where you're flying to, your travel dates and 1 traveller.
Step 3: Pick Customise Your Own and leave travel insurance and the 5GB eSIM switched on. Or go for the PLUS or ELITE Recommended Plan.
Step 4: Fill in your details.

FAQ
Free really free or got catch?
Really free. The 5GB / 15-day eSIM is RM14 and XTRADATA takes off RM14, so you only pay for your insurance. Want the 10GB one? Can, you just top up RM11.
My phone can use eSIM or not?
Many newer phones can, but not all, and your phone cannot be locked to a telco. Check first before you buy, because the eSIM cannot be refunded if your phone doesn't support it. Our eSIM guide for Malaysians shows you how to check.
How do I get the eSIM?
After you pay, you'll get the setup instructions with a QR code or a manual setup option. You can set it up through WhatsApp or a web portal. Best to install it at home on Wi-Fi before you fly. Once you land, switch your data to the eSIM line and turn on data roaming. Done.
Can I book for my family also?
Can, but one booking per person. XTRADATA only works for single-traveller bookings, so book each traveller separately and key in the code every time. Each booking gets its own free eSIM. The promo is for travellers aged 18 to 80.
What if I remove the eSIM or forget the code?
No eSIM in the booking means XTRADATA won't work, so keep the eSIM switched on. And remember to key in the code before you pay. Once payment goes through, cannot add it anymore.
